Jimmy Kimmel Set to Host Oscars for the Fourth Time

American television host and producer James Christian Kimmel is gearing up to host the Oscars Awards for the fourth occasion, as announced by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences on Wednesday.

The Academy revealed the news in an official statement, expressing excitement about Kimmel’s return to the prestigious event. In response to the announcement, Kimmel humorously stated, “I always dreamed of hosting the Oscars exactly four times.”

Scheduled to take place on March 10, 2024, the 96th Oscars will be broadcast on Walt Disney-owned ABC and various global broadcast outlets. Kimmel previously hosted the 95th Oscars at the Dolby Theatre last March, where he delivered a back-to-basics show that aimed to celebrate the resurgence of moviegoing following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. His performance earned him an Emmy nomination.

This upcoming stint will mark Kimmel’s fourth time hosting the Oscars, having previously taken on the role in 2017 and 2018. The announcement has generated anticipation and excitement among both industry insiders and viewers, with expectations high for another memorable Oscars night under Kimmel’s hosting expertise.
