Keke Palmer’s Ex, Darius Jackson, Counters Allegations with Claims of His Own, Citing Physical and Verbal Abuse

Keke Palmer’s ex-partner, Darius Jackson, has responded to the actress-singer’s recent claims of physical abuse by filing a counter-motion, alleging a history of abuse on Palmer’s part. The legal filing, obtained by RadarOnline, reveals Jackson’s accusations of regular physical assaults, verbal abuse, and emotional mistreatment.

Jackson, a former college football player who shares a son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, with Keke Palmer, claims he was a victim of multiple instances of physical assault. The allegations include Palmer allegedly “violently” gripping his arm, punching him in the face at a birthday party, and other incidents.

In addition to physical abuse, Jackson asserts that he endured verbal and emotional mistreatment, with Palmer allegedly using derogatory names such as “loser,” “punk,” and “bitch” to demean him regularly.

To substantiate his claims, Jackson recalled an incident where Palmer allegedly made over 200 phone calls and sent 50 emails after an argument over him not wanting to spend the night. In text messages shared by Jackson, Palmer admitted feeling “ashamed” for her actions and apologized for hitting him, expressing remorse for acting out of fear and desperation.

Amidst these claims, Jackson is seeking the dismissal of Palmer’s restraining order against him.

This development follows Keke Palmer filing for a restraining order and custody of their son, Leodis, alleging physical and emotional abuse by Jackson. Palmer detailed multiple instances of alleged domestic abuse captured by security cameras, including an incident in 2022 where she claimed Jackson slammed her on the floor and physically assaulted her on the stairs.

While a court hearing was initially set for December 5, 2023, the estranged couple has opted for arbitration to address their domestic issues. In the interim, Palmer has been granted temporary sole custody of their son. The legal proceedings shed light on a complex and contentious dispute between the two parties, each presenting contrasting narratives of their tumultuous relationship.
