Mark Wahlberg, known for his roles in R-rated hits like ‘Boogie Nights’ and ‘Ted’, is now setting his sights on projects suitable for family viewing. The 52-year-old actor, father of four, aims to create content that resonates with all age groups.

In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, Wahlberg expressed his desire to engage audiences with movies that cater to a wider demographic. “You know, I do enjoy doing things that the whole entire family can see,” he stated, highlighting his transition towards age-appropriate roles.

Acknowledging his role as a father and the need for relatable on-screen personas, Wahlberg emphasized the importance of authenticity in storytelling. “I think a lot of people don’t embrace that and audiences are like — this doesn’t seem real,” he added, underscoring the audience’s preference for believable narratives.

Despite his shift in focus, Wahlberg remains open to diverse opportunities in the industry. “Listen, if the right script comes, I don’t rule anything out,” he affirmed, leaving room for versatility in his future projects.
