Beyoncé, Jay-Z Contemplating Legal Action Against Kanye West Over Controversial Remarks
March 18, 2025 – Music icons Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly considering legal action against Kanye West following his recent disturbing social media remarks about their children.
In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, Kanye made controversial claims about the couple’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, alleging that Beyoncé had used IVF to conceive them.
“I said Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s kids are retarded. Let’s make the hot water boiling hot or like people say boiling hot (six),” Kanye wrote in the cryptic message.
Legal Action on the Table
A source close to the couple told Page Six that Beyoncé and Jay-Z found Kanye’s comments “vulgar and offensive” and are now exploring their options.
“Jay-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter,” the insider revealed.
Although Kanye has since removed the post, he later claimed he did not do so out of remorse but because he was pressured into deleting it.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Privacy Stance
The Carters have long maintained a high level of privacy when it comes to their twins, rarely sharing details or images of Rumi and Sir since their birth in 2017. In contrast, their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, has frequently appeared in public with her parents.
Earlier this year, Blue Ivy joined Beyoncé at the Grammy Awards, where she stood beside her mother as she accepted the Album of the Year award for Cowboy Carter.
As the couple deliberates their next steps, the ongoing rift between Jay-Z and Kanye West, once close collaborators, appears to have deepened.
