Former U.S. President Barack Obama has shared his admiration for Playboi Carti’s latest album, I Am Music, revealing that one track, in particular, has become a staple in the Obama household.

The endorsement from Obama comes amid recent controversy surrounding Playboi Carti and fellow rapper Kanye West. West had criticized Carti for featuring Kendrick Lamar on I Am Music, arguing that Lamar’s presence was unnecessary.
In response, Carti clapped back at West via his Instagram Story, writing a blunt message: “Ye STFU.”
