Megan Thee Stallion Set to Present at the 2024 Anime Awards in Tokyo

Houston Hottie, Megan Thee Stallion, is set to make her mark in the anime world as one of the presenters at the upcoming 2024 Anime Awards in Tokyo. The annual event is scheduled for March 2, and Megan is joining fellow enthusiasts to celebrate and honour the best anime creators and shows globally.

In a statement to Billboard, the 28-year-old rapper expressed her excitement for the opportunity, sharing her love for watching anime and cosplaying as her favourite characters. Megan said, “I love the storytelling, and I love getting inspiration from the different anime art styles!”

Fans have the chance to participate by voting in all 26 categories until January 27. Megan Thee Stallion, known for her dynamic persona, is thrilled about the upcoming event and her role in presenting an award.

Apart from her involvement in the anime scene, Megan is gearing up for a busy 2024 after a relatively quiet 2023 due to the conclusion of the Tory Lanez shooting trial, which resulted in the singer’s 10-year prison sentence in August.

Expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming era, Megan stated, “I get to do everything that I want to do, when I want to do it. And I’m about to give everybody what they’ve been looking for, good or bad.” The rapper recently contributed to the Mean Girls musical soundtrack and appeared in the music video for “Not My Fault,” adopting a Regina George-like persona.

With her multifaceted career, Megan Thee Stallion continues to captivate audiences, and her participation in the Anime Awards adds another exciting chapter to her diverse endeavours.
