Snoop Dogg and Bill Cosby

Snoop Dogg Labels Bill Cosby’s 1987 Film ‘Leonard Part 6’ as “Worst Movie Ever”

Iconic West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg took to Instagram on Tuesday (January 16) to single out a film from the 1980s, created by Bill Cosby, as the “worst movie ever.” The subject of Snoop’s critique was Cosby’s 1987 film, “Leonard Part 6.”

In a peculiar Instagram post, Snoop Dogg shared a clip from the film, directed by Paul Weiland, featuring a bizarre scene with Bill Cosby serving a dynamite hot dog that causes a head to explode. Alongside the clip, Snoop Dogg emphatically dubbed it the “worst movie ever.”

The post generated responses from fans and followers, with Tony Yayo responding with a laughing emoji. Others joined the conversation, sharing their opinions on the worst movies of all time, mentioning films like “Belly 2” and citing other forgettable Bill Cosby movies such as “Ghost Dad” and “Leonard Part 6.”

Despite Snoop Dogg’s criticism of “Leonard Part 6,” it’s worth noting the rapper’s complex history with Bill Cosby. In 2020, Snoop Dogg came to Cosby’s defence while criticizing Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King for their condemnation of Cosby. He accused Winfrey of tarnishing Michael Jackson’s name and expressed support for Cosby by writing, “Free Bill Cosby.”

Cosby, currently serving a prison sentence of three to ten years for the sexual assault of Andrea Constand in 2004, acknowledged Snoop Dogg’s support and thanked the rap legend for speaking up on his behalf. In a tweet, Cosby expressed disappointment that successful Black women were being used to tarnish the image and legacy of successful Black men, even in death.
