Mohbad’s Widow Speaks on Nurse’s Role in His Death, Says She Can’t Forgive Her
Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late singer Mohbad, has expressed her inability to forgive the nurse who administered an injection to her husband before his passing.
Speaking in an interview with Arise Television, Omowunmi revealed her frustration over the nurse’s behavior following Mohbad’s death, stating that while she remains in grief, the nurse has been living freely and enjoying life.
“She has been out there clubbing and enjoying her life while I have been held hostage. I can’t move freely, and my son has not even experienced the joy of childhood,” she lamented.
Omowunmi, who lost her husband at the age of 24, said she holds the nurse accountable for making her a widow at such a young age.
“I can’t forgive that nurse because she made me a widow at 24. She has been acting nonchalant, living as if nothing happened. I don’t know if the injection she gave my husband was a mistake, but if I ever see her face to face, I will tell her she will experience everything she has done to me,” she stated.
She further explained that the nurse was introduced to them by Mohbad’s friend, Spending, as the singer’s personal nurse was unavailable at the time.
Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, under unclear circumstances. His remains have yet to be buried as investigations and legal proceedings into his death continue.
