My Dad Told Me I’d End Up a Gospel Singer – Davido
Renowned artist Davido shared a surprising revelation from his billionaire father, Deji Adeleke, who foresaw his son’s transition from secular to gospel music.
During a conversation with guests at a recent wedding, Davido recounted how his father envisioned a future where he would shift his musical career towards gospel. “In the morning, daddy would say, ‘Davido, I had a vision about you.’ I said, ‘What vision?’ He said, ‘I had a vision that you ended your music as a gospel singer,’” Davido revealed.
The wedding ceremony was a joyous celebration of love, family, and friendship, attended by numerous notable guests. Among them were Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Abia Governor Alex Otti, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
