Odumodublvck Claims He Rejected Lucrative Offer to Oppose Peter Obi
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has revealed that he turned down a substantial financial offer to campaign against Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The rapper made the disclosure while addressing criticism from social media users who claimed he was demanding too much by expecting Obi to promote his album, The Machine Is Coming, as a reward for his loyalty.
Responding on his X handle, Odumodublvck insisted that his support for Obi came at a personal cost, describing it as a sacrifice.
“Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen before to campaign against Mr Peter, but I turned it down,” he wrote.
He further stated that expecting Obi to promote his album was a reasonable request, given the level of commitment he had shown.
“Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask, as I am not one to seek favours. I sacrificed my life for this man.”
Odumodublvck’s comments have sparked reactions online, with some commending his stance while others questioned his expectations from the former Anambra State governor.
