Pele Health Status: Daughter of Soccer Legend Updates Fans With emotional Photo
The health of Pele has reportedly been in constant decline since his admission to Albert Einstein Medical Center in Sao Paulo back in late November. His daughter, Kely Nascimento, shared an emotional photo of her and the soccer legend at the hospital on Friday.
Despite multiple reports that Pele, 82, is getting closer to losing his battle to colon cancer, Nascimento seemingly still believes her father will recover.
“We’re still here, in the fight and in faith,” Nascimento wrote. “One more night together.”
In the photo, Nascimento can be seen hugging her father, who is still fighting for his life.
Pele’s condition has reportedly worsened and is no longer reacting to treatment. He is only receiving palliative care to help him breath and mitigate the pain.
