Popular TikTok content creator Peller recently had dinner with Nigerian Afrobeats singer Runtown, weeks after issuing a public apology for previously describing the music star as an “up-and-coming artist.”
Peller had come under heavy criticism last month after making the remark during a livestream, prompting him to retract the statement and apologise publicly.
On Tuesday, the TikToker shared a video on his Instagram page showing him dining with Runtown. The outing appears to confirm that the artist has accepted the apology and moved past the controversy.
“You all see who took me for dinner. God bless you sir big @runtown. I am so happy, you made my week already,” Peller captioned the video.
The reconciliation has drawn praise from fans, many commending Runtown for his grace and Peller for taking responsibility for his words.
