Portable Sets the Record Straight: Collaborative Song with Dammy Krane Not Aimed at Davido

Habeeb Okikiola, the controversial artist better known as Portable, has addressed speculations regarding a collaborative track with Dammy Krane, asserting that the song is not a diss directed at Davido, contrary to widespread social media assumptions.

Earlier reports surfaced on social platforms suggesting that Portable and Dammy Krane had created a diss track aimed at Davido during a joint studio session amid the ongoing social media dispute involving alleged debts associated with Davido.

In a video message circulating on social media, Portable sought to clarify the misconceptions, emphasizing that his studio collaboration with Dammy Krane was strictly business and not related to any ongoing issues with Davido.

The ‘Zazu’ singer made it clear that the song recorded with Dammy Krane was, in fact, a prayerful composition.

Speaking in Pidgin, Portable addressed the situation, stating, “Dammy Krane sang with me, and some people said we insulted Davido. It was strictly business. Music is business. Just because Dammy Krane has issues with Davido, should we not collaborate? Uncle Dammy Krane and uncle Davido, please forgive each other.”

Portable’s statement attempts to dispel the swirling rumours and assert the genuine nature of his collaboration with Dammy Krane while also advocating for reconciliation between the two prominent artists, reiterating that the joint track was not created as a disrespectful gesture towards Davido.
