The Premier League has revealed its list of the fastest players for the current season, with Tottenham Hotspur’s defender Micky Van de Ven taking the lead.
Van de Ven clocked an impressive 37.12 km/h during Spurs’ 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford. The 23-year-old showcased his pace during first-half stoppage time as he sprinted to halt United’s Alejandro Garnacho.
His speed puts him ahead of Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga, who reached 35.90 km/h, and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who followed closely at 35.74 km/h.
