Rafael Nadal Wins Historic 14th French Open Title
Spanish tennis champion, Rafael Nadal has won his 14th French Open title and his 22nd Grand Slam after defeating Norwegian, Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 on Sunday to continue his dominance at Roland Garros.
The Spaniard made his victory look easy, winning in three straight sets over Ruud, a product of the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy.
Nadal had to fight back from two games down in the second set to earn his victory at the Philippe-Chatrier, a ground the 36 years old has come to own.
