Rapper OG Maco Passes Away at 32 Following Gunshot Injury

American rapper OG Maco, widely known for his breakout hit “U Guessed It,” has died at the age of 32.

According to reports, the artist succumbed to injuries sustained from a gunshot wound on Thursday. He had been hospitalized since December 12 after suffering what was described as a self-inflicted gunshot injury.

OG Maco was found unresponsive in his home and placed on life support during the days leading up to his death.

In a statement shared on his official Instagram account on Friday, his family confirmed the tragic news, writing:
“With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved OG Maco. His life was a testament to resilience, creativity, and boundless love.”

The rapper, born Maco Mattox, rose to fame in 2014 with his viral single “U Guessed It,” which became a cultural phenomenon and earned him a devoted following. Over the years, he was known not only for his music but also for his candid discussions about personal struggles and his commitment to self-expression.
