Rema Reveals Rumoured Tracklist for Upcoming ‘He Is’ EP
Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter Rema is set to release his much-anticipated EP, titled “He Is,” in July 2024. The tracklist for the EP has been unveiled, featuring six tracks: “HEIS,” “MARCH AM,” “BENIN BOYS” featuring Shallipopi, “HEHEHE,” and “WAR MACHINE” featuring ODUMODUBLVCK.
Rema has been teasing fans with snippets of several tracks, including “MARCH AM” and “HEHEHE.” The snippet of “HEHEHE,” posted on Rema’s X account on June 24, 2024, has already become popular on TikTok, generating over 35,000 videos and six challenges. These previews showcase a new musical direction for Rema, intriguing fans with his evolving sound.
One track, “Benin Boys,” has already been released, highlighting a collaboration between Rema and fellow Benin artist Shallipopi.
This EP marks a significant milestone for Rema, who recently signed a deal with Interscope Records through a partnership with Mavin Global and UMG. Fans have eagerly awaited new music from Rema, whose last release was the “Ravage” EP in October 2023. With “He Is” set to drop in July 2024, Rema is poised to make a strong impact and solidify his position as the Afrobeat Prince.
