During a recent episode on June 20, Hawker claimed that a “Nintendo Direct is going to happen next month.” While he did not disclose his source, Hawker shared several unconfirmed details about potential upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Potential Game Reveals Hinted

According to Hawker, fans might see GameCube “shadow-drops,” with Pokémon Colosseum specifically mentioned as a possible immediate release. He noted that Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness is expected later, suggesting a staggered release of classic titles.

Additionally, Hawker’s claims suggest that Metaphor: ReFantazio, Death Stranding Director’s Cut, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt could all be making their way to the Switch 2.

Regarding the overall scope of the rumored Direct, Hawker indicated it would serve to “refresh everybody with what’s coming out for the rest of the year.” This would include the much-anticipated release date for Metroid Prime 4.
