Singer Solidstar Announces Engagement to Longtime Partner
Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo, popularly known as Solidstar, has announced his engagement to his fiancée. The news was shared by the artist on his social media page on Tuesday.
In the post, Solidstar shared a photo of his fiancée’s hand adorned with an engagement ring, describing her as a “good woman” and expressing his happiness at finding her. He captioned the post, “Good woman no dey easy to find.”
This joyous announcement comes after a challenging period for the singer. In August 2023, Solidstar was seen in a disheveled state, wandering the streets. His brother Joseph shared a video of the incident, revealing that Solidstar was battling drug addiction.
However, in March 2024, Solidstar addressed the situation publicly, announcing that he had overcome his struggles and had quit smoking and drinking alcohol.
Solidstar’s musical journey began at the age of 14 when he served as a drummer in his hometown church in Delta State. He later pursued a professional music career after being discovered at a talent show in Ajegunle, Lagos. His engagement marks a new chapter in both his personal and professional life.
