Skales Reveals He Hasn’t Seen His Daughter in a While Amid Marital Strain
Nigerian Afrobeats singer, John Njenga-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has expressed emotional distress over being separated from his daughter, whom he welcomed with his wife, Precious Hassanity, in March 2023.
Taking to social media platform X, the singer revealed that he has not been able to see his daughter recently and that he deeply misses her. “I miss my daughter so much… I haven’t seen her in a while… she’s growing up too fast,” he wrote.
His revelation comes amid ongoing speculation about trouble in his marriage. In recent months, rumours of a split between Skales and his wife resurfaced following previous public disagreements, including accusations he made against her in 2022. However, the artist denied claims of a formal divorce just last month, after social media users speculated that Precious had mocked his music career online.
Skales, best known for hits like “Shake Body” and “Mukulu,” has yet to give further details regarding the current state of his relationship or the reasons behind his limited access to his daughter.
