Snoop Dogg Explains Why He Once Turned Down $2M To DJ For Michael Jordan
American rap icon, Snoop Dogg has revealed that he once turned down a $2 million offer to DJ for basketball icon, Michael Jordan.
During a recent episode of the Impaulsive podcast by Logan Paul, the West Coast legend revealed that MJ offered him $2 million to DJ at his event. Unfortunately, he had to turn it down due to other pressing obligations.
Ironically, till this day, Snoop is yet to meet with Jordan as their paths are yet to cross.
“One of the craziest deals I turned down was $2 million to DJ for a Michael Jordan event, and I turned it down,” he explained. “And I’ve never met Michael Jordan, and I wanna meet him. ‘Cause I was doing some other shit, I had shit to do and I had way more customers before I get to you [laughs]. Nah, but I never met Michael Jordan, and I wanna meet him, and I wanna meet him on a different – I don’t wanna meet him on no DJing. I wanna meet him as a fan, as a boss.
“It’s like, ‘Mike, I’ve loved you since North Carolina, I’m a big fan of yours, I love what you do, you one of the greatest to ever do it. Give me a couple of secrets on how you did this. Can I get a picture with you? You wanna smoke a blunt? Hey man, it’s been real.’”
Snoop then went on to shed light on why he has a deep level of respect for Jordan and was quick to cite his victories against the Georgetown Hoyas and the Los Angeles Lakers.
