Snoop Dogg Re-Signs Former Death Row Artist Danny Boy to Label

Snoop Dogg, the iconic figure behind Death Row Records, has made a significant move by welcoming back one of the label’s former artists, Danny Boy, to its roster.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the West Coast rap legend announced Danny Boy’s return to Death Row with a studio video, expressing excitement about having him back.

Reactions poured in from various artists, with DJ Quik and DJ Premier showing their support, and fellow R&B stars like Omarion, Faith Evans, and Anthony Hamilton expressing their enthusiasm.

Danny Boy reciprocated the excitement on his Instagram, confirming new music in the works and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Snoop Dogg and Death Row once again.

Best known for his contributions to 2Pac’s albums, Danny Boy’s return marks a significant moment for Death Row. He initially signed with the label at just 16 years old under Suge Knight’s leadership.

Despite setbacks, including the shelving of his debut album “It’s About Time,” Danny Boy’s talent has endured, as evidenced by his recent studio sessions and collaborations.

Snoop Dogg had expressed interest in bringing Danny Boy back to Death Row last year after witnessing his continued vocal prowess in a viral video.

Danny Boy’s signing follows the return of Tha Dogg Pound to the label, hinting at a revival of Death Row’s legacy under Snoop Dogg’s ownership.
