Snoop Dogg Returns to Smoking Three Days After ‘Quitting’ Publicly
American hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, who made headlines just four days ago by declaring he had “decided to give up smoke,” has come forward to clarify that the “smoking” he referred to was not related to weed but instead pertained to a smoky room warmer.
In an advertisement video shared via his X handle on Monday, Snoop Dogg revealed his shift to a smokeless lifestyle with the help of Solo Stove. In the video, the rapper humorously stated, “I have an announcement, I’m giving up smoke. I know what you’re thinking, ‘Snoop, smoke has carried your whole fame.’ But I’m done with it. I’m going smokeless. Solo Stove fixed fire. They take out the smoke. Clever! [Laughs]”
This clarification follows his earlier announcement, which sparked speculation among fans and colleagues, including Meek Mill, who expressed intentions to follow suit by relocating to Dubai to quit smoking. Meek Mill had mentioned being diagnosed with emphysema as part of his decision.
Snoop Dogg’s initial declaration had led many to believe that the hip-hop icon was addressing his long-standing association with weed. However, the recent video makes it clear that the renowned artist is embracing a smokeless lifestyle with a different context, marking a shift in his relationship with traditional smoke.
