TG Omori Provides Update on Unsuccessful Kidney Transplant, Seeks Public Support
Renowned Nigerian music video director, ThankGod Omori Jesam, better known as TG Omori, has provided an update on his recent health struggles, revealing that his kidney transplant in Nigeria did not succeed.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, TG Omori, who has been less active in the public eye and has notably reduced his video production, disclosed that he had been dealing with kidney failure over the past year. His brother served as the donor for the transplant. Despite this effort, the procedure did not achieve the hoped-for results.
TG Omori expressed his gratitude and asked for public prayers during this challenging time. He posted on social media: “One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas Lagos. Pray for me.”
In a follow-up tweet, he recounted his harrowing experience, stating: “Went into this theatre 3 times, wasn’t just destined to die today.”
The update comes amid TG Omori’s earlier criticism of the prevalence of counterfeit drinks in Nigerian clubs, which he linked to rising kidney failures. His health issues have kept him hospitalized for much of 2023, highlighting the serious impact of this problem.
