Tiffany Haddish Arrested for DUI After Allegedly Falling Asleep Behind the Wheel in Los Angeles

Renowned comedian and rapper Tiffany Haddish has found herself in legal trouble once again, this time for driving under the influence in Los Angeles. Video footage obtained by TMZ on Friday (November 24) shows Haddish being handcuffed and placed in a Beverly Hills Police Department vehicle. Although she was not involved in an accident, the incident reportedly unfolded as Haddish allegedly fell asleep in the middle of the road with her engine running.

This wouldn’t be the first DUI charge for the 43-year-old entertainer. In early 2022, she faced a similar situation when the Peachtree City Police Department in Georgia received reports of her dozing off behind the wheel. Haddish is scheduled to appear in court on December 4 for the previous incident.

In more positive news, Haddish has been actively pursuing a resurgence in her rap career. Despite her primary fame as a comedian and actress, she has demonstrated her musical prowess in the past. In mid-September, she released “Till The Club Close,” featuring Lil Jon, Fivio Foreign, and Begetz. The track showcases her skills as an MC and has been well-received as a certified banger.

Fivio Foreign expressed his admiration for Haddish’s energy, stating, “Her shit different, boy. And she’s funny as hell for real.” He also shared an anecdote about the camaraderie they shared after the shoot, including encounters with Dave Chappelle.

Haddish, who has never released a full-length album, boasts a solid catalog of singles and collaborations with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Begetz. Her recent collaboration with Lil Jon and E-40 over the summer further solidifies her standing in the music industry.

In a recent development, Haddish secured an agreement with Kodak Black to record music together during an Instagram Live stream in late October. The duo plans to link up during Haddish’s visit to Florida this month.
