Timini Egbuson Declares Nollywood His One True Love
Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has revealed that, for now, the Nigerian film industry is the only love in his life.
Speaking with Saturday Beats, the actor explained his dedication to his craft, saying, “I am not in love with anyone; I am only in love with Nollywood—my craft and what I do on screen.”
Despite his current focus on work, Egbuson shared his perspective on love, calling it a “beautiful thing.” He added, “I portray love a lot in my films, and I believe in falling in love with a sense of caution. Don’t overthink it, because love, while it has its ups and downs, is a good thing.”
Reflecting on cherished Christmas memories, the actor fondly recalled simpler times from his childhood. “The most memorable Christmas I’ve ever had was when I was a kid. I remember the knockouts (fireworks) and how things felt so much simpler back then. There wasn’t social media, and it was just a happier time. Not to say it’s not happy now, but it felt different then,” he said.
Looking ahead to the holiday season, Egbuson emphasized the importance of rest and reconnection. “The holiday season is a time to recharge. I work very hard all year round, so this is my chance to let my hair down and breathe a little. For me, that also means going to the beach,” he shared.
With his focus firmly set on Nollywood and self-care, Egbuson continues to win hearts on and off the screen while staying dedicated to his craft.
