Tori Spelling Opens Up About Financial Struggles Amid Divorce, Relies on Friends for Support
Tori Spelling, known for her role in “90210” and daughter of late multi-millionaire Aaron Spelling, has revealed her financial struggles amidst her recent split from Dean McDermott after nearly 20 years of marriage.
In a candid discussion on her misSPELLING podcast, the 50-year-old actress admitted that she wasn’t equipped with the necessary financial skills, despite her privileged background. She confessed, “I’m not good with money. I suck with money. I didn’t even know how to write a check until I was in my 40s.”
Spelling described herself as a hoarder and acknowledged the challenge of managing her possessions, especially after having to place them in storage following issues with mold in her home. She expressed concern for her children, stating, “They deserve better.”
Acknowledging her financial strain, Spelling shared that some of her friends have stepped in to assist her during this challenging time. She revealed, “I have friends helping me to get back into some of the units right now.”
Despite her difficulties, Spelling remains determined to navigate her financial situation and provide the best for her children amid her divorce proceedings.
