Toke Makinwa Reveals D’banj as Only Nigerian Man to Give Her “Free Money”
Nigerian media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa, has revealed that singer D’banj is the only Nigerian man who has ever given her money without expecting anything in return. In a viral video, Makinwa shared that the artist, popularly known as the ‘Koko Master,’ gifted her ₦10 million shortly after pledging the sum during her book launch.
Makinwa recalled how the funds were sent to her early the next morning, highlighting D’banj’s generosity. She emphasized that the gesture came with no strings attached, unlike other experiences where men have made similar contributions in exchange for dates.
“Dbanj pledged 10 million Naira at my book launch and sent it at 8:00 am the next morning. He never asked for anything in return. The only Nigerian man that has given me free money,” she said.
