Travis Scott Gifts Fan His ‘Favourite’ Unreleased Nike Sneakers

Travis Scott kicked off 2024 on a high note, making a diehard fan’s day during his Circus Maximus Tour stop in Chicago on January 3. The “Sicko Mode” hitmaker not only engaged with the front-row fan during the performance of “Lost Forever” but also gifted him a pair of his unreleased Nike x Cactus Jack kicks, which he took off his feet on the spot.

The exclusive tan-colored Nike Shark-A-Don collaboration, inspired by Nike’s Air Zoom Spiridon silhouette, hasn’t hit the shelves yet, and there’s no release date for the general public. Impressed by the fan’s energy, Scott handed over the coveted sneakers with one strict condition – not to sell them. He expressed his attachment to the shoes, saying, “Don’t sell my shoes, man. They’re my favorite pair of shoes, so don’t sell them. Ya dig what I’m saying? I love y’all, Chicago.”

Travis Scott had initially unveiled this unreleased Nike collaboration in October, creating anticipation among sneaker enthusiasts. However, he made it clear that he does not want to see these rare kicks end up on auction sites like eBay.

As Scott continues the second leg of the Circus Maximus Tour, with upcoming U.S. dates in Boston, Milwaukee, Miami, Louisville, and more, he is also gearing up for the Grammy Awards next month. His latest album, “UTOPIA,” is nominated for Best Rap Album, marking a significant moment in his career. While Travis Scott has been nominated 10 times in the past, including categories like Album of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance, he is yet to secure a Grammy win. Reflecting on the nomination, he shared on The Tonight Show, “It means a lot to me. I love music, and I love the Academy.”
