American goalkeeper, Matt Turner who plies his trade with Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution joins Arsenal this summer and has already endeared himself to fans after seen snubbing a fan wearing a Tottenham Hotspur shirt. Watch the clip below.
His team, New England Revolution took on Minnesota in MLS on Sunday night in a game that many in England won’t have been focused on.
The Revs grabbed a 2-1 win thanks to Gustavo Bou’s winner but the main storyline was the end of Turner’s time with the club.
Turner will be leaving New England Revolution this summer after six years with the club – and his destination is already known.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper will be signing for Arsenal in a deal worth around £7.5million.
Arsenal teed up this deal earlier in the year and Turner will arrive for his medical with the Gunners on Wednesday.
