Nigerian singer Yemi Alade recently opened up about her ideal partner, outlining the qualities she finds most attractive in a man. In an interview with media personality VJ Adams, the “Johnny” hitmaker emphasized her preference for a partner who is funny, but “not a clown.”
When asked what physical qualities she notices first, Yemi responded, “Beards are good. Definitely the eyes, the composure, the height, and then eventually, what comes out of that mouth.” She clarified her preference for humor with, “Funny is good but not a clown—there’s a tiny line there.”
Beyond physical traits, Yemi Alade noted that she values modesty in a partner. “I would say someone who is modest. Not too much braggadociousness, but also a bit of the ‘let them know’ vibe. I don’t like people that brag,” she added.
