Zari Hasan Reacts to Diamond Platnumz’s Marriage to Zuchu
Ugandan socialite and businesswoman, Zari Hasan, has reacted to the recent marriage of her ex-boyfriend, Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz, to his label signee, Zuchu.
The wedding, which took place quietly on June 1, 2025, sparked widespread conversation on social media, especially given the singer’s history of high-profile relationships and breakups.
Speaking in a viral interview with AyoTV, Zari offered a mix of sarcasm and support, praising Zuchu’s resilience in staying with Diamond despite his controversial past.
“Zuchu definitely deserves the Girlfriend of the Year award. She’s strong—we couldn’t handle it,” Zari said. “I really hope Diamond changes now that she’s his wife. It would be nice to see him settle down and do right by her.”
Zari, who shares children with the Tanzanian superstar, ended her relationship with him in 2018, citing repeated infidelity as the reason for their split. Her recent comments come amid renewed public interest in Diamond’s personal life following his surprise wedding to Zuchu.
