In a significant development in the Nigerian music industry, iconic musician 2Baba, also known as Innocent Ujah Idibia, has announced his departure from his longtime manager, Efe Omorogbe, CEO of talent management firm Now Muzik.

The news was shared via a joint statement on Instagram by Now Muzik, revealing that the separation between the artist and his manager is effective immediately.

Expressing gratitude for their longstanding collaboration, Omorogbe conveyed his appreciation for the opportunity to work with 2Baba, stating that their relationship transcended professional boundaries.

Reflecting on their accomplishments over the past two decades, Omorogbe assured continued support for the artist and pledged to assist from the sidelines.

In response, 2Baba acknowledged the pivotal role played by Omorogbe and his team at Now Muzik in his career, expressing gratitude for their contributions. However, he asserted that all good things must eventually conclude.

2Baba’s association with Now Muzik began in 2004 after his departure from The Plantashun Boiz, marking a significant chapter in his solo career.

Moving forward, the renowned musician will be represented by his newly established management company, Hypertek Digital, signaling a new phase in his illustrious career.
