50 Cent Mocks Diddy’s Grammy Snub, Predicts “They Not Gonna Give You No Trophy”
In his ongoing spree of taunts, 50 Cent takes another jab at Diddy, this time ridiculing the Bad Boy Records founder for choosing to skip the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards despite earning a nomination. Diddy’s representative confirmed his absence despite being nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album, marking his first Grammy nod in two decades.
50 Cent took to Instagram, posting a screenshot of a HipHopDX article detailing Diddy’s decision not to attend the ceremony. In the comments, 50 wrote, “Wait puff I think you should go [eyes emoji] [grinning face emoji] they not gonna give you no [trophy emoji] trophy LMAO get the fvck outta here.”
Diddy is in the running for the Best Progressive R&B Album award for “The Love Album: Off The Grid,” competing against other nominees such as Janelle Monáe, 6LACK, Terrace Martin, and James Fauntleroy, and SZA. However, even if he secures a win, he won’t be present to accept the trophy.
The ongoing mockery from 50 Cent towards Diddy began after the mogul faced allegations of sexual assault and rape by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. The G-Unit leader previously teased buying Diddy’s Revolt network after the controversy led him to step down as chairman. 50 Cent has also taunted Diddy regarding his alleged involvement in the murder of 2Pac, referencing the upcoming trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who once claimed Diddy put a bounty on 2Pac’s head.
Despite the persistent taunts, Diddy has consistently denied any connection to 2Pac’s death.
