Infinix Launches NOTE 60 Pro in Nigeria With Snapdragon Power and Advanced Battery Technology
Smartphone manufacturer Infinix has unveiled the latest addition to its NOTE lineup in Nigeria, introducing the NOTE 60 Series led by the new Infinix NOTE 60 Pro.
The device is designed to meet the growing expectations of modern smartphone users, who increasingly rely on their devices for work, entertainment, content creation and everyday connectivity.
According to the company, the NOTE 60 Pro brings several major upgrades to the series, including the brand’s first smartphone powered by a Snapdragon processor, a new interactive lighting interface and long-lasting battery technology aimed at improving durability and performance.
First Snapdragon-Powered Infinix NOTE Device
At the core of the NOTE 60 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, marking the first time a NOTE-series device from Infinix has used a Snapdragon processor.
The company said the processor delivers significant performance improvements compared with previous generations of the NOTE series, achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 1.1 million.
The chipset is designed to provide faster app launches, smoother gaming and improved multitasking performance, allowing the phone to handle demanding activities such as video editing and content creation more efficiently.
To prevent overheating during heavy usage, the device is also equipped with a 3D IceCore Vapor Chamber cooling system, which helps dissipate heat and maintain stable performance during tasks like gaming and streaming.

Interactive Active Matrix Display
One of the most distinctive features of the NOTE 60 Pro is its Active Matrix Display, a small LED interface integrated into the back of the device.
The interface remains hidden until activated and can display notifications, calls, timers and alerts. Users can also customise the lighting patterns with animated effects, emojis and personal signatures.
The feature also introduces interactive elements such as Pixel Pets companions and mini-games, adding a playful layer of interaction to the smartphone experience.
50MP Camera Designed for Low-Light Photography
The smartphone features a 50-megapixel main camera equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).
The camera system uses pixel fusion technology to enhance light capture and reduce motion blur, allowing users to take clearer photos and more stable videos, particularly in low-light environments.
Infinix said the system is designed to deliver improved clarity when capturing night scenes, indoor shots and social media content.
Large Battery With Fast and Wireless Charging
Powering the NOTE 60 Pro is a 6500mAh battery, which the company says is designed to support extended daily use across multiple applications.
The phone supports several charging technologies, including:
- 90W fast wired charging
- 30W wireless charging through the MagCharge ecosystem
- Adaptive bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming or heavy usage
The device also introduces Battery Self-Healing Technology, which Infinix says can help maintain battery health over time and extend reliable battery performance for up to six years of typical use.

Enhanced Audio and Entertainment
For multimedia consumption, the NOTE 60 Pro features dual stereo speakers tuned in partnership with JBL.
The system is designed to deliver richer stereo sound with improved depth and clarity for watching videos, gaming or listening to music.
Long-Term Software Support
The smartphone runs on Android 16 alongside Infinix’s custom interface, XOS 16.
To ensure long-term usability, the company says the device will receive up to three years of Android operating system updates and up to five years of security updates.
Company Commentary
Speaking on the launch, Oluwayemisi Ode, Integrated Marketing Communications and PR Manager at Infinix Nigeria, said the new device reflects the company’s focus on combining performance, creativity and reliability.
“The NOTE Series has always been about delivering powerful technology that empowers users to do more with their smartphones,” she said. “With the NOTE 60 Pro, we are introducing major advancements including Snapdragon performance, interactive design through the Active Matrix Display and long-lasting battery innovations.”
With its combination of upgraded performance, interactive design and extended battery life, Infinix says the NOTE 60 Pro is designed to meet the needs of users who depend on their smartphones for both productivity and entertainment.
