Shallipopi, DJ Neptune Set to Headline Goldberg’s Golden Fiesta in Benin
Premium lager brand Goldberg is set to host its highly anticipated Golden Fiesta in Benin, bringing together music, culture and entertainment in what organisers describe as a major celebration of contemporary Nigerian creativity.
The event is scheduled to take place on April 3 at Garrick Memorial in Benin City, and is expected to draw large crowds for an immersive cultural experience.
Leading the lineup is fast-rising street-pop sensation Shallipopi, whose unique sound and street-inspired style have earned him widespread popularity. He will be joined by Famous Pluto and DJ Neptune, alongside performances from Shody, Jerry Shaffer and DJ Stormy.
The Golden Fiesta continues Goldberg’s tradition of blending cultural heritage with modern entertainment. The brand has maintained a strong presence in Nigeria’s cultural space, recently partnering with the Lisabi Festival X Egbaliganza event in Abeokuta, which celebrates Egba heritage and fashion.
According to Kunle Aroyehun, Senior Brand Manager for Goldberg at Nigerian Breweries Plc, the event is designed to connect with younger audiences while staying rooted in tradition. He noted that partnering with artists like Shallipopi reflects the brand’s effort to align with the evolving energy of Nigerian street culture.
With a mix of high-energy performances and cultural showcases, the Golden Fiesta is expected to stand out as one of the season’s major events, reinforcing Goldberg’s positioning as a brand that celebrates both heritage and contemporary expression.
