‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ Star Amber Heard Reportedly Quits Hollywood, Moves To Spain

Johnny Depp is set to make a comeback after winning his highly publicized 2022 defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

The former Pirates of the Caribbean star will serve as the main attraction at the Cannes Film Festival’s opening night.

Meanwhile, Heard has reportedly quit acting and relocated to a secluded home outside Madrid to raise her two-year-old surrogate daughter, Oonagh.

According to a friend of Heard, the actress is happy raising her daughter away from the public eye, and she is not in any hurry to return to work or Hollywood.

The Daily Mail reported that Heard’s last two roles were in the horror movie In the Fire, which she filmed in Spring 2022, and the upcoming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, set to release this Christmas.

Heard’s career came to a halt after a Virginia jury found her guilty of defamation and acting with malice for publishing an op-ed in the Washington Post that was deemed defamatory towards Depp.

In contrast, Depp’s career has been on the rise, with him appearing as the face of a new Dior campaign and performing live music with Jeff Beck. His new film, Jeanne Du Barry, where he portrays King Louis XV, is set to release on May 16th.

The Daily Mail reported that Heard’s decision to quit acting may have been influenced by her loss in the defamation trial and desire to raise her daughter away from the limelight. Although she may come back to work when the time is right for the right project.
