Beyonce Fan Gets Smacked for Hollering During ‘Mute Challenge’ at Concert

Beyoncé fans have taken matters into their own hands to ensure the success of her Mute Challenge during her Renaissance World Tour. The incident occurred during her recent concert in her hometown, Houston.

In a now-viral video from the show, a man loudly exclaimed, “Woo!” after Beyoncé requested a brief moment of silence during her performance of “Energy.” In response, a woman seated nearby promptly silenced him with a stern, “Shut the fuck up!”

Thankfully, the man appeared to take the rebuke in good humour. Click here to view the clip.

Sunday marked the second night of Beyoncé’s Houston run on her tour. On the previous evening, fellow Houston native Megan Thee Stallion joined her on stage for their debut live performance of their 2020 hit “Savage (Remix).”

During their performance, Beyoncé and Meg exchanged words of admiration and love for each other. Beyoncé expressed her pride in Megan, while the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper enthusiastically returned the sentiment.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour has also featured other surprise guest appearances. Earlier this month, during her multi-night Los Angeles engagement, Kendrick Lamar made an unexpected appearance on stage, creating a memorable moment for fans.

Beyoncé took to Instagram to express her gratitude to Kendrick Lamar, referring to him as a legend, and thanking him for joining her on tour.

The tour has been filled with memorable moments, including Diana Ross appearing on stage to sing “Happy Birthday” to Beyoncé on her 42nd birthday. The performance featured participation from the massive crowd of over 70,000 attendees.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is scheduled to conclude on October 1 in Kansas City, with additional shows planned for New Orleans.

This tour has been a monumental success for the former Destiny’s Child star. It recently became the highest-grossing tour ever by a female artist, surpassing Madonna’s 2008 Sticky & Sweet Tour, with earnings exceeding $450 million. Beyoncé embarked on the tour in early May, beginning in Europe before bringing her remarkable performance to audiences around the world.
