Davido and Lojay Earn Spot on Billboard’s 2024 Honour Roll for Chart Success
Nigerian Afrobeat stars Davido and Lojay have been named to the 2024 Billboard Honour Roll, making them among the African artists recognized for their chart-topping hits. The Honour Roll, published by Billboard, highlights R&B and Hip-Hop songs that have dominated the charts globally from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024.
Davido and Lojay secured their spot on the prestigious list due to their contributions to American R&B artist Chris Brown’s hit single, “Sensational,” which soared to No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay Chart. The remix of Lojay’s hit track “Monalisa,” featuring Chris Brown, also played a significant role in boosting both artists’ commercial success.
