Diddy Claims He’s a Victim of ‘Cancel Culture’ in Notion to Dismiss Gang Rape Lawsuit

Diddy, facing allegations of sexual assault and misconduct, is now asserting himself as a victim of what he terms ‘cancel culture,’ according to legal documents filed by his attorney Jonathan Davis on Friday.

In support of Diddy’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit alleging gang rape in 2003, Davis paints the mogul, along with former Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre, as “victims of the ‘cancel culture’ frenzy in the courts.”

The lawsuit, filed late last year by an anonymous woman, accuses Diddy, Pierre, and an unnamed third assailant of raping her when she was just 17 years old. While denying the allegations, the filing primarily argues that the case should be dismissed due to statute of limitations issues.

Davis contends that the lawsuit has irreparably damaged the reputations of the defendants and subjected them to societal condemnation, even before any evidence has been presented. HipHopDX reached out to Davis for further clarification on the comments, but he has yet to respond.

In a strategic move, Diddy has enlisted high-profile attorney Bobbi Sternheim to represent him in court, replacing Davis. Sternheim, a former president of the New York Women’s Bar Association, is known for her involvement in notable cases such as defending Ghislaine Maxwell in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case and representing Osama Bin Laden’s henchman, Khaled al-Fawwaz, in a trial related to the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa.

As legal battles intensify, Diddy’s bid to dismiss the gang rape lawsuit underscores his efforts to combat serious allegations amid the complexities of public perception and legal strategy.
