Diddy’s Son King Combs Faces Sexual Assault Lawsuit Following Allegations at 2022 Yacht Party

King Combs, the son of music mogul Diddy, is facing a lawsuit over allegations of sexual assault stemming from an incident aboard a yacht in 2022.

According to reports from In Touch on December 2, Christian Combs, known as King Combs, was served the lawsuit at his father’s Miami residence. The legal action, filed by Grace O’Marcaigh in April, accuses Combs of assault, battery, sexual assault, and infliction of emotional distress.

O’Marcaigh, who had been working in the yachting industry since 2018, alleges that the incident occurred during what was expected to be a family-oriented yacht excursion. She claims the atmosphere quickly devolved into a “hedonistic” environment involving unlawful drug use and alleged sex workers.

The lawsuit states that during her shift, Combs pressured O’Marcaigh to drink with him and escalated the situation by forcibly grabbing her and preventing her from leaving. She further alleges that the drinks he provided were spiked and that he later cornered her in a private room. She managed to escape when another person entered the room.

The aftermath of the alleged incident reportedly had severe consequences for O’Marcaigh. She claims she lost her job in the yachting industry, as well as her long-term relationship, due to the physical and emotional trauma. She also suffered mental health challenges, requiring therapy and medication, and struggled to fulfil her role as maid of honour at her sister’s wedding in 2023.

Responding to the lawsuit, both King Combs and Diddy’s lawyer, Aaron Dyer, criticised the claims and the approach of O’Marcaigh’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn. Dyer described the lawsuit as “meritless” and part of a broader pattern by Blackburn to file “manufactured” cases to gain media attention and pressure settlements. He added that a motion to dismiss the lawsuit would be filed.

This lawsuit follows other legal battles involving Diddy, with Blackburn representing clients in similar claims against the music mogul earlier this year. Combs and his legal team maintain their stance that the allegations are baseless.
