Nicki Minaj retains her spot as the highest-selling female rapper globally and in the United States, maintaining her dominance in the genre.
While Cardi B now ranks fourth in U.S. sales, she holds the third spot worldwide. Megan Thee Stallion takes the third position domestically, behind Minaj and Doja Cat.
The rankings, determined by sales performance on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts, highlight Doja Cat’s growing influence and commercial success in the music industry.
In addition to the rankings for female rappers, Billboard recognized other major music achievements. Taylor Swift was named the biggest artist of the 21st century, with Canadian rapper Drake earning the title of the century’s biggest rapper.
Maroon 5 emerged as the top group of the era, while Destiny’s Child was celebrated as the leading girl group.
