Facebook Offers Up to $3,000 Monthly to Attract TikTok and YouTube Creators

Facebook is rolling out a new initiative aimed at top content creators, offering payments of up to $3,000 per month to influencers who post regularly on the platform.

The programme, known as the Content Fast Track, targets creators with large followings on rival platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Eligible participants must have at least one million followers and commit to posting 15 short-form videos – known as Reels – each month.

The initiative is being introduced by Meta, Facebook’s parent company, as part of its broader effort to boost creator activity on the platform. Meta said it paid nearly $3 billion to creators in 2025 through various monetisation programmes.

For creators with smaller audiences, the scheme offers up to $1,000 monthly. However, the programme is currently limited to users in the United States and Canada and will run for a maximum of three months.

Despite the financial incentives, some industry insiders remain sceptical about the strategy. Jordan Schwarzenberger, manager of the popular influencer group Sidemen, described the move as unlikely to significantly shift creator behaviour.

He noted that many creators already earn more through brand deals and existing revenue streams on platforms like YouTube, suggesting the offered payments may not be competitive – especially when factoring in production costs.

Schwarzenberger also pointed out that audience habits may limit the programme’s effectiveness, arguing that users tend to prioritize platforms over individual creators. As a result, even if creators expand to Facebook, their audiences may not necessarily follow.

While Facebook continues to invest in creator monetisation tools, analysts say the success of the Content Fast Track programme will depend on whether it can meaningfully compete with established ecosystems on rival platforms.
