Falz Reveals He Has Never Said “I Love You” in a Relationship
LAGOS, NIGERIA – Nigerian rapper Falz has made a surprising revelation about his love life, disclosing that he has never professed love to anyone before.
In a recent interview on the Menisms Podcast, Falz opened up about his experiences with romance, stating that he has never reached a level of emotional commitment where expressions of love are exchanged.
“I have never said ‘I love you’ to anybody. I have never been in love or gotten to that level of emotional commitment before. And they have not said it to me either. You know there is a stage in a relationship where it’s like, ‘Oh, I love you, baby, I love you too’, I have never gotten there,” Falz explained.
He elaborated on his approach to relationships, emphasizing his honesty and clear communication from the beginning. “I’ve always been upfront about my feelings, disposition, and commitment early on, so we are usually on the same page. That way, nobody is going to run off on their own tangent because we know what is going on.”
Falz also mentioned the importance of revisiting relationship conversations to ensure both parties are aligned. “At the end of the day, it is not like I am not expressive, maybe I have just been consistently true to the cause and I have now become accustomed to the mindset of always guiding.”
