Ini Dima-Okojie Reveals Return of Fibroids Three Years After Surgery
Nigerian actress Ini Dima-Okojie has candidly shared her ongoing battle with fibroid tumours. In a heartfelt video posted on Instagram, the ‘Blood Sisters’ star disclosed that despite undergoing surgery in 2020, the fibroids have reappeared.
Ini Dima-Okojie chose to adopt a holistic approach to managing her symptoms this time, instead of opting for another invasive procedure. “My Fibroid Journey! I never imagined I’d be sharing this again after my last update on 30/12/2020, but here I am. My journey with fibroids isn’t over. I recently learned they’ve returned. The actress emphasized her commitment to raising awareness about fibroids and supporting other women facing similar health challenges. She announced her plan to sponsor scans for 20 women dealing with fibroids, urging anyone who knows someone in need to share the opportunity.
“I will be sponsoring scans for 20 women. If you know someone dealing with fibroids who could benefit from this, please share this with them,” she added.
Ini Dima-Okojie’s openness and initiative aim to shed light on the condition and provide much-needed support to women navigating their own fibroid journeys.
