Renowned actor and Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx broke his silence on Friday, addressing his fans for the first time since he was hospitalized in April. In a heartfelt video shared on his Instagram page, Foxx opened up about his challenging journey to recovery, and his famous friends showered him with love and support.
Among those expressing their heartfelt sentiments was Glenn Close, Foxx’s co-star in the upcoming film “Back in Action.” She fondly recalled the last time they spent together, enjoying a sunny day, laughing, and tossing a football. Close expressed her gratitude to Foxx’s family for providing the love and care needed for his healing and exclaimed, “Thank God you are back!”

Queen Latifah shared her joy at seeing Foxx speaking for himself and declared her love for him. In his video, Foxx addressed the rumours surrounding his hospitalization, clarifying that he was not paralyzed and expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he received. He credited his family for their unwavering love and reassured his fans that he is on the path to recovery.
