Kanye West Roasted by Tom Brady Over Parenting Skills in Comedy Special
Kanye West found himself the target of comedic jabs from NFL legend Tom Brady during Netflix’s latest comedy series, “The Greatest Roast of All Time,” which premiered on Sunday (May 5).
The special, featuring a star-studded lineup of roasters including Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, took aim at various celebrities, with Brady joining in the fun with a quip aimed at West’s parenting abilities.
Addressing Kardashian’s presence at the event, Brady humorously remarked, “Thank you so much for being here. I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight. Not because of this, but because her kids are home with their dad.”
The joke garnered a lively reaction from the audience, with Kardashian smiling and shaking her head in response.
The comedic roast also saw appearances from former teammates of Brady, including Julian Edelman, Randy Moss, and Rob Gronkowski, along with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, and notable comedians and actors such as Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell, Ben Affleck, and Jeff Ross.
While Brady displayed good sportsmanship throughout most of the roast, he appeared visibly perturbed by a joke directed at Patriots owner Robert Kraft made by comedian Jeff Ross. The joke referenced Kraft’s legal issues in 2019, to which Brady reacted by warning Ross not to repeat similar remarks.
West, who was the subject of Brady’s jest, has yet to respond to the comedic ribbing he received regarding his parenting skills during the special.
The event provided a platform for lighthearted humour and playful banter among celebrities, showcasing their ability to laugh at themselves and each other in a jovial setting.
