Lawsuit Against Jay-Z and Diddy Dismissed

A civil lawsuit accusing hip-hop moguls Jay-Z and Diddy of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a party in New York in 2000 has been dismissed by the accuser.

Court documents filed in a New York federal court on Friday confirmed that the case was “voluntarily dismissed with prejudice,” meaning it cannot be refiled.

Reacting to the dismissal, Jay-Z called it a victory against false accusations, expressing relief after enduring the legal battle.

“Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious, and appalling allegations have been dismissed,” he stated in a post shared on his Roc Nation social media page.

He also spoke about the emotional toll the case had taken on his family, adding, “The trauma my wife, my children, and my loved ones have endured can never be dismissed.”

The lawsuit had drawn widespread attention, particularly as Diddy has faced multiple legal battles in recent months. With the case now closed, both artists are moving forward, though the controversy surrounding similar allegations in the industry remains.
