Meek Mill, the renowned Philadelphia rapper, has made headlines with his recent addition to his collection of luxury vehicles, a Maybach Haute Voiture, shortly after Rick Ross made a similar purchase.
Taking to TikTok on September 13, Meek Mill showcased his brand new Maybach, becoming the first recipient of Virgil Abloh’s Haute Voiture Maybach on the East Coast. This extravagant vehicle, a Mercedes S-Class, features a striking blue and tan exterior, complemented by a lavish white interior with a pattern that mirrors the exterior’s colour scheme. The Haute Voiture is a product of Virgil Abloh’s Project Maybach.
In a highlight reel shared by Meek Mill, his day of collecting the Haute Voiture at the Mercedes dealership was documented, complete with what seems to be an unreleased track playing in the background, referencing Virgil.
The lyrics go, “Louis Virgil got the soft fabric, Virgil Maybach looking like it got some Timbs on it. Equity on the back and then in the front I want M’s on it.”
Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer at Mercedes, commented on the car, stating, “The intricate features and exclusive design elements are what makes the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture one of the most extravagant models we ever created – it represents Sophisticated Luxury in its purest form.”
Meek Mill’s acquisition of the Maybach Haute Voiture comes just hours after Rick Ross displayed his custom grey cement Maybach with a cherry red interior. Rick Ross expressed his satisfaction, saying, “It’s made it here baby, it’s made it here… It’s the biggest. Come on now. It’s never been done. It’s the biggest.”
The two rap stars, Rick Ross and Meek Mill, had previously teased fans with a studio session together, hinting at exciting new music to come. Meek Mill’s latest addition to his impressive collection of luxury cars reaffirms his status as a successful and extravagant artist in the hip-hop industry.
