Meek Mill Roasted for Asking How Fans in Africa Manage to Play His Music

Meek Mill, known for his social media presence, recently became the subject of relentless teasing on African Twitter following an intriguing question he posed about his music’s popularity in South Africa. On Saturday (January 20), the MMG rapper took to the platform to inquire, “Do a lot of people play my music in South Africa? I remember having one big show there a few years back… how do y’all listen to our music in South Africa? On what platform or in Nigeria?”

However, instead of straightforward responses, Meek Mill was met with swift and humorous comments that left fans in stitches. One commenter humorously quipped, “Well, it depends on the season. In summer, we hear it through the trunk of an elephant. In spring, the giraffes catch the signal and play it out loud. You get me?”

Another user creatively responded, “Normally, we use rocks, but on a good day, we use trees or get one person to sing for the whole village.” A more elaborate reply painted a vivid picture: “On a good day, we climb the mountain to listen to the forest play your music. On rainy days, we go down the nearest river, and a mermaid comes out to sing your songs.”

While Meek Mill’s social media mishaps are often lighthearted, he recently faced serious allegations from a former friend, Dean, who claimed on social media that Meek had mistreated Nicki Minaj during their tumultuous two-year relationship that ended in 2016. Dean alleged that Meek put Nicki out in the woods during an argument and even spat on her.

This revelation comes amid renewed public attention on the past relationship between Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj, with both artists throwing salacious accusations at each other four years after their breakup in 2016. Despite the serious nature of these claims, Meek and Nicki have not publicly responded to Dean’s allegations.
